Towers was co-founder, co-CEO, and chairman of the board of Sable which he launched out of Y Combinator in 2019 and grew to over 300K debit and credit accounts within 4 years. As CEO, Towers led teams running operations, business development, partnerships, sales, while leading fundraising efforts, ultimately raising over $12M for the company from
the likes of Kleiner Perkins, Y Combinator, and many more, before selling the business to a multi-billion dollar subprime financial firm. Prior to that, he managed product and go to market for $60B premium charge card product portfolio at American Express, was responsible for the ideation and launch of Pay it Plan It (Amex’s first pay over time product) and ran business development for some of Amex’s largest merchants across US and China creating and executing strategies to grow corporate & consumer payment revenue. Towers started his career as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture, consulting with numerous fortune 50 companies out of New York. Towers received his BA from University of Texas at Austin and MBA from Columbia Business School.
