Trevor Moawad joins Athletes’ Performance as the Vice President of Mindset Programs after spending 15 years in South Florida with both North Broward Preparatory Schools and the IMG Academy.
Moawad was raised in Washington State and is the son of world-renowned peak performance educator, the late Bob Moawad, an original contributor to Chicken Soup
for the Soul. As an athlete, Moawad was inducted into the athletic hall of fame at Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, Wash., and was a two-sport athlete at Occidental College, the same school that produced Jack Kemp and Barack Obama,
At Occidental, Moawad received both his Bachelors degree and Masters Degree in Politics and Education. Moawad has been recognized extensively as an industry leader in the mindset arena. He has served six seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide and 10 seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars as the team’s mental conditioning consultant.
Moawad also serves on the board of directors for the National Association for Self Esteem and is a member of U.S. Soccer’s National Sport Psychology staff. Moawad has been featured by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, FOX Sports, NPR, Outside the Lines, and other media outlets as an expert in the performance space.
