Trung Tran is the CEO and founder of Clarcepto, whose mission is to use technology to enable better decision making. Previously, Trung was a program manager for the HIVE program at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. He was also in the Air Force, where he developed cryptographic chips and command and control networks that focused on
reducing time between the sensor and shooter. Trung received four medals for his work in these areas. Trung is a former vice chairman of the JEDEC Board of Directors, where he worked on the development of DDR3 and FBDIMM specifications. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
