As RichRelevance’s CTO, Tyler manages product, engineering, operations, and data science to accelerate market and technical leadership. Tyler leads a global team of over 70 technologists in the continued development and innovation of the company’s big data infrastructure, and has pioneered his team’s prominent position in high-performance and
distributed computing through conferences, Meet Ups, white papers and contributions to leading open source projects.
Tyler brings over 15 years of technology leadership experience—ranging from Wall Street trading systems to wireless infrastructure to international device management—to this role. Before co-founding RichRelevance, he was a senior consultant at Lab49 where he was responsible for developing real-time analytic trading and reporting systems for Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Prior to Lab49, Tyler ran Axeda Systems development and implementations in European and Middle-Eastern markets, and was the founding chief architect of 2Roam. 2Roam’s wireless data platform was deployed across Asia, the US and Europe, and received PC Magazine’s Editors’ Choice award.
Tyler holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University.
