Vanessa Jameson is the CEO of Covey. Prior to Covey, Jameson worked for Google, where she was a software engineer for 7 years. At Google she contributed to a variety of projects including Shopping Express, Art Project and Image Search. Before Google, she worked on sensing and navigation for autonomous vehicles for projects such as General Dynamics
Robotic Systems Autonomous Navigation System and Carnegie Mellon's entry (Red Team) in two of the DARPA Grand Challenges. She received a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon in 2005. Currently, she resides in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh with her husband and daughter, Shay, who is 2 years old and loves dogs.
