Victor joined RockPort Capital in their Menlo Park, California office in 2008. Previously, he spent eight years as a venture capitalist at InterWest Partners working on investments in semiconductor, advanced materials, Cleantech, wireless and enterprise hardware industries. Earlier, he worked in product marketing and product management roles at
Applied Materials where he help bring semiconductor physical vapor deposition (PVD) equipment into the flat panel display industry. Before that, he worked as an engineer in a venture backed startup called Candescent Technologies developing a novel field emission flat panel display technology, gaining valuable experience commercializing new technologies.
Victor started his career at Hughes Aircraft Company working on a number of engineering projects ranging from missile defense systems to satellite communications systems. He attended Stanford University on Hughes Fellowship where he focused on Micro Electro Mechanical Structures (MEMS). Victor holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
