A vision to restore our local communities through sustainable food systems, allowing for the preservation of the environment and the restoration of health, wealth and investment back into local communities. A Spokane native, a veteran surveillance and reconnaissance Marine, a Biology graduate from Whitworth University with a background in
conservation ecology and was a farmers market seller before deciding to pursue his vision of a disruptive mobile platform which marries technology with traditional artisan food culture paring minority, women and veteran farms with institutions, corporate dining and food service procurement partners.
Looking back on the experiences from his military career, market selling ventures and scientific background, he found parallels to the entrepreneur life; was often working alone, made do with what was available, and invented many solutions along the way such as Share Farm. Share.Farm is a digital, uber farm economy, leveraging technology to simplify the distribution chain from farm to institution, providing members with unprecedented supply and demand insights.
Vince Peak launched Share Farm in 2015 as a solution to remove barriers between local producers and the community. Vince’s education and professional background has served as the catalyst for Share Farm’s continued devotion to innovating sustainable food systems, while his personal ventures as a small farm permaculturist maintains his drive to integrate peer-to-peer, circular food system models that preserve our natural resources for future generations.
