Vinod is an entrepreneur with a unique perspective on today’s technology landscape by virtue of his background in embedded software, wireless and internet technologies.
Prior to joining Violet3D, Vinod was the founding CEO of Althea Systems (shufflr.tv) an Intel capital funded startup with a cloud based online video discovery platform.
Vinod
has been associated with start-ups in the Valley and in India in the areas of gesture recognition, wi-fi beam-forming technology and mobile digital TV. Vinod was an early employee and product manager at TrueSpan, a mobile TV start-up that was acquired by SiRF a few years ago.
Vinod spent the first few years of his career at IBM, where he helped build custom compute devices including a portable PC for the US marines and a pacemaker programmer based on the ThinkPad design.Vinod is a geek who is passionate about his music and movies which explains his natural affinity to violet3d and its unique speaker technology.
