Walter is a successful entrepreneur, business owner, and investor. He was born in the Netherlands, raised in Australia, and has lived in South Africa and Canada, before moving to Colorado in 1988. In 1977, Walter started, owned, and operated the Nilex Group (www.nilex.com) and various other businesses and investments since then. Walter transitioned
out of the Nilex enterprise in 2013 and has directed his attention to new ventures and investments, including his family's focus on social investing and philanthropy. Realizing the need for support and resources to continue the legacy the family has created, Walter joined Harold Pine in the formation of Chasefield Capital in 2014.
