Wayne Goldstein is a Co-Founder and Principal of The Endicott Group, an investment and financial advisory firm specializing in financial institutions which was established in 1996. As such, Wayne Goldstein is responsible for the development of Endicott’s funds and the implementation of the investment strategy. In addition Wayne Goldstein provides
financial, strategic and transaction advisory services to middle-market financial institutions, primarily banks.
Prior to founding Endicott, from 1988 to January 1996, Wayne Goldstein was a Managing Director at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P., an investment banking firm specializing in financial institutions. Wayne Goldstein held prior positions in equity research at L.F. Rothschild Holdings, Inc. and corporate lending at Irving Trust Company. Wayne Goldstein received a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University (1985) and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Brandeis University (1983).
Wayne Goldstein is currently a member of the Board of Directors of First Capital Holdings, Inc., an asset based lending and factoring company headquartered in New York City, and American Chartered Bancorp, a commercial bank headquartered in Schaumberg, IL, a Chicago suburb. He also maintains observer or advisory status for a number of other middle market bank boards, including Sterling Bancorp (Montebello, NY), C&S Bancorp (Atlanta, GA), NewBridge Bancorp (Greensboro, NC), Florida Bank Group (Tampa, FL), Equity Bancshares (Wichita, KS) and Washington First Bancshares (Reston, VA).
