William cofounded Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) upon graduating from Vanderbilt University.
He received initial funding from Jumpstart Foundry, a Nashville startup incubator, as their second investment.
From there he worked with Jumpstart and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center to refine the product and go on to receive venture funding in
2011.
As the COO of CPS, William has guided the development of splitsecnd from both an engineering and brand perspective.
He is passionate about using new technology to build simple solutions to real problems, in this case protecting loved ones on the road.
William presented at Southland, a yearly southern culture and technology event held in Nashville, and continues to be involved with the tech scene by helping Vanderbilt students get involved with entrepreneurship in the city.
He has advised a local medical device startup and was part of a team that developed a location based event app for iOS while in undergrad.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, and engineering science from Vanderbilt University.
