William Peng is the Co-Founder and CEO of Northstar and a General Partner of Red Swan Ventures.
William has a background in both sides of the table: venture investing and operational startup roles. Previously, William was a venture investor at Raptor Ventures, a leading early-stage tech venture capital firm in NYC. Prior to that, William spent
time in operational roles, as Product Manager of Analytics at drop.io (acquired by Facebook), and was Mobile Product Lead and Interaction Designer at Hot Potato (acquired by Facebook). Prior to that, he was an Analyst at RRE Ventures, where he focused on investments in early-stage consumer internet, digital media, and location-based services. William began his career at Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, the strategic venture arm of Bertelsmann.
William graduated from Princeton with a degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
In his spare time, he likes to make ice cream from scratch.
