Mr. Yong Hwan Do is the founder and Chairman of STIC and also serves as the CEO of Digital Power Communications Co., Ltd., the holding company for STIC. Through Mr. Do’s efforts and dedication, STIC has grown from a small local venture capital firm to one of the leading private equity firms in Korea with a presence throughout the Pan-Asia region.
By leveraging Mr. Do’s extensive networks, STIC has been successful in obtaining limited partner commitments from a number of major institutions, including, among others, the Korean Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, the Korean National Pension Service, Korea Teachers’ Credit Union, Samsung Life Insurance, SK Telecom, LG Electronics and Mitsubishi Corporation.
