Dr. Wang, co-founder of Enzerna, received his Ph.D. degree from Johns Hopkins Medical School serves 9 months per year as Director CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology (Shanghai CHINA) and 3 months per year as a fractional CSO for Enzerna. Dr. Wang has made significant contribution to the field of RNA biology by developing a series of
new methods to study RNA metabolism, including splicing and degradation, and his work has been recognized by several research awards. As an Associate Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill, Dr. Wang developed his patented technology for “Artificial Site-Specific RNA Endonucleases (ASREs)” forms the basis of Enzerna’s core technology.
