Zohar Alon is a cybersecurity entrepreneur and investor. As an early employee at Check Point, he created Provider-1, the first MSSP platform. His second startup, Dome9 Security, defined the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) category and was acquired by Check Point in 2018 for $200M. Since the acquisition, Zohar has invested in, advised and
incubated many cybersecurity, cloud and AI startups including Laminar, Adaptive Shield, Tavily AI, Perfect Scale, Noma, Tamnoon, Firefly, Native, Orchid, Oligo, Eon, Glow, Reindeer AI, Accomplish AI and Descope. In early 2025, Zohar co-founded NewCore, where he serves as CEO. NewCore is a security-first converged identity platform, rebuilt from the ground up to handle workforce human and agentic identities at 10000x the scale and strength of incumbent platforms. The company has raised over $66M in seed funding from Cyberstarts, Index Ventures, and Evolution Equity Partners.
