Andy’s scaled scrible from the first line of code to a full-fledged web application. He’s our chief architect, hacker and technical lead.
His versatility’s rooted in his experience building and scaling two other Internet startups, insuranceOrder.com (subsidiary of storied enterprise software firm Trilogy and acquired by Marsh & McLennan)
and IveBeenGood.com (acquired by Network Commerce).
He designed and implemented services and object models underlying each business and designed, implemented and maintained test and production environments. He dismantles complex problems, zips through painful tasks and soaks up new languages and frameworks, all of which have been invaluable for scrible.
Andy has a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and the University of Houston, respectively. He’s a Linux and open source fan.
