Harold Mondschein has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector, including direct patient care, sales, and consulting for health systems and manufacturers. Harold co-founded Medtel in 2013, serving as Chief Executive Officer. Medtel is a software program used by hospitals to reduce costs, integrate physician and patient
programs, and address bundled payments and value-based care. As a result of Harold’s blend of medical technology understanding, along with his experiences and knowledge of the healthcare industry, he has become a valued speaker at symposiums on the topics of “value-based care” and “bundled payments.”
Harold began as a neurological specialist in physical therapy at NYU Medical Center, later successfully launching a state-of-the-art neurosurgery rehabilitation program at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery. For the past 12 years, Harold has been a Managing Partner at Proficient Surgical Equipment, a leading medical device distribution company specializing in neurosurgical and orthopedic equipment and instrumentation.
