Ms. Joan Wang joined SIG in 2006 and has participated the investment and successful exit of ChinaCache, Polybona, Impression Creative, KuXun, 56.COM, Jiamei Dental, Kanbox and etc. She has invested and is currently responsible for the management of more than 10 portfolio companies including Bytedance, Camera 360, Topone Rental, Damai, Gamebar, New
Tech Textile, AdSage, MoyoGame and etc. Initially starting from an engineer at INTELSAT and AT&T Bell Labs, Ms. Wang had gained more than 13 years of experience in telecommunication industry. As an early staff in UTStarcom, she also witnessed the growing process of a start-up to a public listed enterprise. During the past years as a VC professional, Ms. Wang is dedicated to early and middle-stage investment in internet, mobile, entertainment, modern consumer service and high-tech manufacturing industries. She has been committed to strengthening the healthy growth and value maximization of the portfolio companies through close partnership with founding team. Ms. Wang is a MBA graduate from INSEAD and possesses a Master of Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook and Bachelor of Science from Jiao Tong University of Shanghai.
