Shuo Wang is the co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Deel, the leading payroll and HR platform for global teams. She leads Deel’s revenue and go-to-market organization, overseeing global sales, customer growth, and solutions engineering.
Wang has played a central role in scaling Deel’s business from early traction to global scale, helping grow
the company from its first customers to over $100 million in annual recurring revenue in under two years and to a $1 billion run rate within six years of its founding. She is known for a highly analytical and execution-focused approach, shaped by her engineering background, and for building globally distributed teams that operate with speed and efficiency.
A technologist at heart, Shuo Wang has been instrumental in shaping Deel’s AI strategy, championing the integration of AI across the company’s workforce and platform to automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and deliver smarter experiences for customers.
Wang co-founded Deel in 2019 with Alex Bouaziz, building on a shared vision to make global hiring a growth opportunity rather than an operational barrier for companies. The two first met at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Wang studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on robotics. Prior to Deel, she was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aeris Cleantec, a climate technology company focused on air purification systems, which was later acquired by iRobot. Her experience building companies across the U.S. and China has informed her global-first approach to business and talent.
