Susan’s experience in financial services spans from traditional banking to fintech. In addition to her role as Chief Executive Officer at Earnest, Susan serves as Chairman of the Board of BECU, the nation’s 4th largest credit union. Previously, she was Chief Financial Officer and Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Simple Financial Technology, a
BBVA subsidiary. Susan also spent years immersed in fintech, as a consultant for Lending Club and as a General Manager for Amazon. Susan was recognized on “American Banker”magazine’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance list three years in a row, and has served as Chairman of the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) in Chicago, IL and on the Consumer Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC. Susan holds a B.A. with honors in organizational behavior and management from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
